1. Microsoft Platform Lead (2 Positions) : (Atleast 6 years of experience)
Position 1 (Software / App. Server Back Ground)
· Knowledge of VB Object Model / Custom Controls
· Knowledge of Microsoft App. Development Roadmap VB6/Windows Forms / VB.net / C#.net
· Ability to inquire MSDN and Other Microsoft Resources for Notification Of Directions on the Platform Upgrades
· Knowledge of Database Access Path from ADO/RDO To Ado.net
· Knowledge and Usage of Best Drivers for the Database connectivity OLEDB, ODBC and custom .net data providers for Sql Server
· Knowledge of Appropriate use of TSQL (Transact SQL)
· Knowledge of Sql Server Features for Data Integration (Linked Servers, Instance Connectivity)
· ADSI (Active Directory Interface) programming and usage knowledge
· Knowledge of .net Runtime components CLR Engine
· Knowledge of .net development components CTS and Virtual Engine
· Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Middleware components for enterprise development - COM+, MTS, DCOM , .net - System.EnterpriseServices, Remoting and Web Services
· ASP.net programming and component model
· Performance features in ASP.net about CACHING, and Ado.net programming model
· MCAD Preferred : Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), the following tracks preferred
· Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (70-305)
Position 2 (Infrastructure / Server Configuration Back Ground)
· Knowledge of Domain configuration, Primary Domains, Secondary Domains, Trusted Domains and Integration with Active Directory
· Knowledge of Sql Server Authentication Modes like SQL, Windows and AD based
· IIS configuration for installing new virtual directories, components, security configuration and TSS guideline implementation by applying Microsoft patches
· IIS / AD integration
· Ability to monitor Sql Server Usage using Windows defined Monitors and Events and ability to suggest Sql Server Clustered configurations
· Knowledge of MSCS (Microsoft Clustering Services)
· Knowledge of AWE (Window Extensible) memory features
· Ability to tailor the server products for 64-bit environments
· Ability to configure Sql Server in a Multi instance mode and connect to disparate data sources like MS-Access using Linked Server configurations
· Knowledge of issues of DLL interaction with multiple drivers like OLEDB, ODBC ... .net data providers for sql server
· Following Certifications preferred
· Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and/or
· Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
· The following tracks preferred
· Microsoft SQL Server 2005 – Implementation and Maintenance
2. Microsoft Developers (5 Positions): (Between 2.5 to 5 years of experience)
· Knowledge and experience of VB component model and object model and events
· Knowledge and experience of Built in controls and custom controls
· Knowledge and experience of VB build options including exe creation and creation of COM objects for integration
· ASP - page flow, objects, and programming experience
· ADO - SQL knowledge and ODBC Driver based coding experience
· Ability to Scale up to VB.net , CLR environment
· TSQL knowledge preferred
· Certifications Preferred : Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
· VBScript / ADSI /WSH Knowledge preferred
