Job description for the above mentioned Windows profile :

Knowledge on NT/Windows 200x Server administration
Should have knowledge about backup and different types of backup and should have familiarity with at least one backup software
Good concepts on Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, WINS AD replication issues
Troubleshooting Windows OS and Hardware (HP, DELL, Compaq, etc) related issues
Knowledge on File and Print Server Knowledge on SUS/WSUS and Patch Management
Familiarity with Anti Virus software and management RAID Concepts
Performance Monitoring of the Windows server using relevant performance counters Proactively build good relationships with business partners and other personnel for solving work-related issues.

Requirements:

Must be familiar with the tools involved for troubleshooting Windows OS and Server.
Knowledge on database like SQL would be an added advantage
Should be a team player, independent in solving the assigned tasks.
Innovative in approach and should have a broad mindset Should be familiar with ticketing tools like Remedy, etc
Should be familiar with monitoring tools like BMC Patrol, MOM, etc.

Note : Candidate should be ready for 24/ 7 shifts
