We are looking for IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Notice period: 7 Days to 20 Days.

Job Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 Handles medium to large projects related to Implementation of IT Infrastructure through all stages which may involve implementation of LAN, Wireless LAN, Video Conference and Telepresence, WAN, Servers and Storage.
 Day to day resource management of project team ensuring effective delivery of projects tasks, deliverables, and milestones on time ,on budget, and within specification and or agreed upon project scope.
 Working with different geography teams to deliver the solutions. The teams at different geography locations may include Local IT Manager and Local IT Team and Facilities team.
 Develop detailed implementation plans using MS Project to enable delivery of the Technical Solution Document
 Working closely with Facilities team and their contractors to understand and capture requirements.
 Estimate initial project cost and timing with the help of project team members of different Geography"s.
 Develop budget and manage costs in the project.
 Responsible for remote coordination of infrastructure implementation / integration
 Acquire budget approval to all Project Costs - hardware & software spend, resource costs, floor space, licenses etc...
 Manage consultants and Technical Architects / Implementation Specialists to deliver the solution.
 Attend all project calls with customer to understand / capture requirements and update on project status.
 Follow the EMC processes required to run the projects.
 Prepare project status reports and share with the customer on weekly basis.
 Maintain all required documentation in a central repository.
 Manage, Log and Control Risks / Issues in according to the Project Risk and Account management procedure.
 Act as a primary interface to the customer, other vendors and all EMC and alliance personnel associated with the project.
 To chair regular Technical Project Review Meetings, Customer facing Meetings
 Agree deliverables/milestones and report project progress to the account specific management in place on the particular project.
 Follow Project specific change process.
 Identify and manage cost, schedule or scope changes to the projects.

Additional Skills (Optional)
* CCNA certification or possess knowledge of the same.
* Working experience with remote project teams
