Position : MSS Security Firewall Engineer JD:
Package : Open / Best in the Industry

\\\MSS Security Firewall Engineer JD:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years industry experience or 1 yrs of SOC Experience.
• Hands-on expertise designing and implementing technical security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs.
• Should have basic knowledge on IDS and IPS technologies.
• Expertise with at least 1 of the following:
o Check Point FW-1/VPN-1
o Cisco Pix & ASA
o Juniper NetScreen Firewall
• Should have demonstrated ability/experience to solve technical issues with customers and partners. Proven customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Should be flexible with 24x7 shift rotation schedule.
• Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Is responsible for triage of customer issues in complex security network environments.

Should Have
• Knowledge on basic networking (OSI Layers, TCP/IP, IP addressing, Routing/routed protocols)
• Should have done policy changes and basic troubleshooting in atleast one vendor firewall we support (Cisco or Check Point or Juniper).
• Good Communication skills.
• Interested to work in global 24/7 team to support our global customers.
• Customer handling experience.
Nice to Have
• Expertise in any of the firewall technologies (Cisco, Check Point, Juniper firewalls).
• Having firewall certifications like Cisco SNPA, Juniper JNCIA-FW or Check Point CCSA/SE.
• Experience in Firewall migration projects.

It would be nice if you have working experience in below mention companies

• TCL (TATA Communications Ltd)
• HCL Comnet
• Cognizant
• GE SOC
• SNS (Service Integrator in Chennai)
• Network Solutions (Service Integrator in Chennai)
• Any other network security companies.
