Position Title : Network Engineering Manager, Information Technology Division
Reporting : Head of Infrastructure Services
The Job:
IT Infrastructure - Management responsibilities for the operation and administration of the company"s Systems platform infrastructure and security related to systems.
Network Engineering Services
· Assess what type of hardware requirement for the Bank"s network and make recommendations for purchase. Assume responsibility for the implementation, configuration and ongoing support of network hardware/firmware.
· Assess when hardware and software need to be upgraded and make appropriate recommendations for purchase. Assume responsibility for the implementation, configuration and ongoing support
· Work with consultants in designing and maintaining the Banks network architecture in consultation with ISO. Assume responsibility for maintaining the documentation for the same.
· Work with LAN/WAN/SAN vendors to identify and solve problems for the networks.
· Maintain documentation for the network topology in order to quickly access information needed to make purchases and diagnose problems.
· Implement and maintain network security so that business, data, and communications are secure.
· Manage and maintain the inventory of all the network equipments used within the bank.
· Manage and implement appliances pertaining to LAN/WAN/SAN
· Create and maintain a remote monitoring system of the network using SNMP and other network management tools in order to maximize network efficiency.
· Mcafee IPS, Websense, Checkpoint Firewalls, PIX firewalls, ISA Cluster
IT Security
· Ensure information security framework implementation pertaining to Networks is in line with NBO"s approved security framework and industry best practices.
· Implement technical controls and procedures for the infrastructure within area of responsibility.
· Manage appropriate security controls to ensure proper security posture is maintained for the entire infrastructure.
· Ensure all the Network infrastructure conforms to the MSB standards laid down by IS guidelines.
Infrastructure Configuration
· Follow Change management process.
· Maintain and update the configuration documentation to ensure configuration accuracy
Communication
· Manage communication link between head office and multiple sites.
· Manage EBPAX integration between the sites
· Manage the integration of VOICE, DATA & Multimedia.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
· Bachelor of Engineering in Computer/Electronics with 7 years" experience in Network engineering configuration & maintenance mandatory
· Formal training in network design, installation, and maintenance
· Relevant CISCO Certification minimum requirement CCNP, CCSP or CCDA.
· CISCO Certification CCIE Preferable
· Minimum Five to Six years of applied experience in network operations hands on preferred
· Design , Modify and Deploy New Network architecture
· Hands on experience to Add/ Maintain/ Modify - Router, Switch & IP Telephony Configuration and troubleshooting.
· (CISCO/CheckPoint/Juniper)Firewalls appliance setup and troubleshooting experience.
· VPN Setup and troubleshooting experience
· Good knowledge on security concepts pertaining to Networking technologies
· Network & Systems Administration - Maintenance and smooth running of all kind of Network (Local, WAN and remote site connectivity).
· Systems platform knowledge Preferable
· Microsoft Server Product Certification desirable
· Active Directory/Exchange/Microsoft Products expertise
· Server Platform (Windows Server, Linux/Unix) Knowledge preferable
