Deputy Director (Transition Delivery Mgt)


Responsibilities :

1) To manage and lead the team of Transition Delivery Managers to perform the following tasks:

• To lead post-sales technical discussion with customer.

• To establish in-depth understanding of customer existing networking, communication setup and

operating environment in order to develop implementation and migration plan.

• To manage and coordinate with all relevant parties (including external vendors/partners) to ensure

customer requirements can be implemented accordingly.

• To ensure that end to end network configurations are understood and correctly implemented by SingTel

and Partner.

• To develop and agree with customer on User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan.

Requirements :

• Knowledge or experience of server platforms and applications such as Microsoft, Linux, Sun Solaris,

Engineer

Network Engineer (Optical Network Support)


Responsibilities:

* As a subject matter expert in DWDM operations responsible for resolving equipment / service related problems in SingTel’s networks.
* Investigate, isolate and rectify faults pertaining to DWDM equipment deployed in SingTel’s networks.
* Subject matter expert for DWDM equipment responsible to get to the root cause of the problem and resolve it with the vendor and / or network Planner to pre-empt the recurrence.

Responsibilities:

* Do application development using Programming or scripting language.

Requirements:

The incumbent will be part of the technical specialists in carrying out daily operations for Corporate IP Networks. He will supervise and coach the technical teams in the implementation and maintenance of IP Corporate networks.

Responsibilities:

Handle escalations from the Operations team to resolve highly complex technical issues on Public IP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 MPLS & voice network.

* Proficient in diagramming software like Visio.

Process & Quality Manager

Responsibilities:

* Apply subject matter knowledge and is accountable for the end-to-end detailed process design on IP products and solutions. This includes:
o Design of the product implementation process, to ensure that new products rolled out are defects free. Operational Level Agreement with Product, Capacity and Operations Support and Underlying Contract with Suppliers must be defined.
o Design of the network implementation process, to ensure that network implementation is defects free. Specifically, the Operational Level Agreement with Product, Capacity and Operations Support and Underlying Contract with Suppliers must be defined.
o Design of customer transition process, to ensure that transition of the customers from Sales, to Implementation, to Maintenance is carried out smoothly. Specifically, the interface between Pre-sales, Customers, Service Delivery, and Maintenance must be designed such that information is passed down the production process for a good customer experience.
* Implement performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the processes.
* Ensure that there is quality control by making sure that the processes are adhered to.
* Analyse process performance trends and continually improve on the Processes to improve quality and cut wastes.
* Responsible for the provision of the Technical Service Description documentation of a product, Operational Strategy, and associated technical product documentation.
* Ensure the product integrates into existing operational processes, platforms, and test mechanisms for operational maintenance. This includes consulting with all operational groups and producing the product Operational Strategy documentation. This includes the product operational requirements for Service Provisioning and Maintenance.
* Responsible to ensure all technical documentation relevant to a product is accurate, and is available before product launch approval is given to the Product Manager.

Requirements:

* Preferably a degree in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics or equivalent qualifications with at least 3 years of working experience in an Operational environment.
* A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is advantageous.
* A CCNA is advantageous, but not required.
* Experience in the telecommunications industry in position/s requiring the exercise of good operational judgement.

Responsibilities:

* Capacity planning, expansion, documentation and maintenances of existing SingNet Systems like Email, Web, DNS, storage services.
* Creating high-level architecture design and detailed technical design to meet product specifications. Design, implement and integrate new components and infrastructure in the solutions while ensuring compliance to standards and best practices.
* Leading or being part of multi-team projects. Research on issues, contact vendors, and use specialized skills in problem remediation.
* Supporting customer-facing and operational units on pre-sales and post-sales issues.
* Providing technical advices and fault resolution/trouble-shooting support during fault escalation.

Requirements:

* Good Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in the systems development area and at least 2 year in project management capacity.
* Relevant IT skills and systems and business knowledge to perform job and attain results.
* Possess good leadership, effective project management and negotiation skills.
* Candidate must also be innovative, customer-focused and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Possess the following knowledge in:
o Systems skills and Internet knowledge (eg Linux/UNIX, SMTP, POP, DNS etc)

Responsibilities:

* Review the pre-sales design and provide post-sales implementation support.
* Play a lead role in gathering detail technical info from customers to ensure the migration and implementation can be carried out smoothly.
* Probe and develop an in-depth understanding of customers existing networking, communication setup and operating environment.
* Develop high quality migration and UAT plan for customers.
* Work closely with our Project Managers and Partners to implement the services subscribed by our customers.

(Broadband & SingNet Operations)




Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the troubleshooting and timely resolution of faults/issues in SingNet systems/network.
* Carry out troubleshooting and system/network restoration from any network service outage including faulty hardware replacement.
* Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on system/network equipment such as servers, appliances and switches.
* Carry out configuration on servers, appliances and switches.
* Set up, maintain and analyze the output of monitoring systems.
* Carry out investigations to isolate the cause of customers' complaints.
* Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and commissioning of new hardware and software upgrade.

Requirements:

* Possess sound knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:
o Messaging protocols e.g. SMTP, POP3, IMAP.
o Ethernet technologies and TCP/IP networking.
o Monitoring tools e.g. MRTG, Cacti, SmokePing.

Associate Engineer (Charging Mgmt & Opns)
(1-yr Contract)








Responsibilities:

* To work with requirement analyst and developer to understand feature requirements and design of the application system assigned in order to work out the system test plan accordingly.
* To assist Test Manager in the preparation of the comprehensive System Test Plan based on the requirements specifications of the application system.
* To manage, execute and ensure the proper execution for the test cases according to the System Test Plan and to log down the test results properly.
* To assist Test Manager in conducting regression test of the application system assigned.
* To produce test reports and assist Test Manager in the review of the test results after the test completion.

Associate Data Centre Engineer


Responsibilities:

* Perform 7 x 24 - 12 hrs shift work/staggered duties based on roster, to provide 7 X 24 onsite support for Expan suite of services and Data centers.
* Perform 1st - level IT/FM/Leased Circuits troubleshooting/provisioning support for clients, networks and the suite of services offered by EXPAN.
* Coordinate with Marketing Alliances partners across the region to troubleshoot Expan services.
* Support ISO27001 and DR/BC Certifications in the area of Datacentre controls, policies, procedures, structures and software functions.
* Facilitate customer visitation and provide “remote hands” service to customers.
* Front customer and provide periodic updates to customer during fault resolution, update customer profile, incidents management records and furnish incident report to customers as and when required.
* Coordinate DRP (Disaster Recovery Procedure) for customers and infrastructure group.

* Practical experience in Data Centre facilities management, IP technology, Veritas Netbackup, HP Data Protector, HP Overview and windows application software (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
* Experience in Data Centre environment (FM) or in customers' dealings which includes administration/troubleshooting/maintenance of WAN, SDH, GW, Metro E and Fibre related systems.

Associate Engineer (Field Operations Business)


Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of telecommunication equipment in cabinets and customer sites.
* Lead in local projects involving site surveys with SingTel internal and external teams.
* Access information and input data required in ordering and maintenance support systems such as Pegasus and FRMS.
* Perform analysis on fault resolution to make recommendations to improve the quality of service maintenance.
* Participate in change management, incident review, and root cause analyses.
* Plan, improve and document processes for post-sales and support activities.
* Work with cross functional teams to troubleshoot IP and Data services.
* Support fibre / copper diversion initiated by Network Operations, including checking of the list of circuits impacted and liaising with internal teams to inform the customers prior to the diversion.

* Provides lab training, 'on the job' training, monitor and assist staff performing their duties in the field.

Requirements:

* Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunication or related fields.
* Technical skills and practical experience in LAN/ WAN networks, Networking (Cisco, Juniper), and IP technology.
