We have an immediate opening for the position of NETWORK ENGINEER - Bangalore.

NETWORK ENGINEER
· 5 years of experience on network and IT infrastructure management, preferably in Design and planning of network of large enterprises
· Sound knowledge of networking on routing and switching technologies.
o Cisco routing and switching.
o Nortel routing and switching
o VPN gateway hosting and maintenance
o SSL VPN technologies
o Sound knowledge of MPLS networks preferably should have associated with designing and deploying an MPLS network.
o Network management tools evaluation and deployment experience
o Sound knowledge of routing protocols OSPF, BGP, etc
o Working knowledge of IDS, firewalls, URL filters etc security products
· Qualification - Engineering
· Certification – CCNA, CCNP. CCIE will be a big advantage.
Candidate would work for the IT Initiatives team of Wipro carries the charter of evaluating and deploying latest technologies as required by Wipro enterprise for its business. This team works on cutting of technology, and needs to be updated on all the latest technology trends in the industry and their relevance and benefits to Wipro. People with experience in IT infrastructure of large IT companies or ISPs would be the ideal fit for the job. This is not a regular IT Operations role, this is a design role and we are looking for candidates with wider experience having worked on different technologies and also having high level of certification:
