Thanks Shantonu Ghosh Juniper Networks | Staffing shantonu@juniper.net Position : Regression Test Eng Manager Business Unit : FT – Common Junos Location : Bangalore Management experience: You will lead a team responsible for regression testing, scaling and performance, analysis and debugging of JUNOS through the use of systematic testing to maintain the highest quality standards for Juniper products. Technical Background: We are seeking a Engineering Manager for our JUNOS Core Regression Engineering team who has experience with driving and championing Quality aspects of developing and testing a large complex network operating system similar to JUNOS. The candidate should have experience with the full product life cycle of software development and testing, development testing (Feature/Functional), regressions and Test Automation using/editing Perl, TCL, etc. To be considered for this role you must have senior level, technical experience leading the software or test of Enterprise Class Software/Hardware Solutions and a deep understanding of Switching and Routing Protocols. Previous team leadership/management experience working in a highly iterative software development lifecycle Development and Test environment is also a requirement as this position is expected to contribute heavily in the implementation of Juniper’s emerging regression factory model. The JUNOS software consists of various Layer-2, Layer-3, routing, security, transport protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, RSA, MPLS, IKE, MD5, IPSec, LAN-802.x, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, SONET, ATM, PIM-Multicast…). Executing and debugging tests, writing automation, analyzing failures requires skill in the above mentioned areas along with programming knowledge in languages like Perl, C, and TCL. This role also requires the ability to narrow down the problem to precise scope, which requires in-depth understanding of Layer-3 (Routing) and Layer-2 (Switching) devices.
