Skillset Needed
Strong Experience in any Protocols Testing(Layer 2 and Layer 3)
Experience in Manual Testing or Automation Testing
Good experience in TCL Scripting
Experience : 3 to 6 years
Location: Chennai
The Job Description in Detail:
Candidate must have a firm understanding of network architectures as it pertains to a carrier class and enterprise meshed networks.
Fundamental understanding of Ethernet Protocol specifications
A strong technical knowledge of IP routing (OSPF, ISIS, BGP,MLPPP) and Layer 2 protocols
A strong technical knowledge of data networks, layer 2 and layer 3 switching architectures
working knowledge of third party test simulation equipment such as, IXIA, Adtech, SnifferPro and/or Ethereal
Prior working knowledge of layer 1 protocols such as SONET/SDH and GigE is highly desirable
A working knowledge of the product lifecycle process is a definite plus.
