Designation: Tech Lead (Network Operations ) Qualificational Requirements: B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA Location: Gurgaon Work Exp : 7-14 Yrs Key Responsibilities *Investigate & Analyse platform-wide sessions, traffic and other graphics behaviour (Such as FD's, GC, CPU Usage, Mem and Load AVG) * Proactive monitoring of services * Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and commonly-used network protocols (MPLS, IPv6, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS). * Write custom scripts and plugins for Nagios , Munin , Cacti and Chef to automate monitoring and reporting . Oversee the monitoring of the platform (network,servers,applications) for stability and performance in order to maintain 24x7 operations and resolve service impacts as they occur. * Establish a competent technical team of brilliant NOC operators and lead the transition of projects from Europe to India. * Lead and manage the team and contribute individually to monitoring projects/processes. * Work closely with system administration team/head on monitoring aspects of new releases and requirements. * Incident Recording, Classification and Initial Support. (Tier 1 of our Incident Management) * Trigger the Escalation Process Accordingly in case of failure with the Initial Support. * Follow up incidents and resolution for further Analysis and documentation. * To extend our Monitoring Platform, Documentation & Knowledge Base. * Required Experience: * Very Good Experience and knowledge of LINUX and Open Source based Operation Setup 0- 2 years of experience in Senior / Lead role. * Experience using network management and monitoring tools such as Nagios, Munin- very important -Cacti,Pnp4 , Nagios, OpenMNS * Experience in Linux systems administration. * Knowledge of incident management process and ITIL. * Any two of the two scripting languages (Perl, Shell/bash, Python etc.) experience desired. * Functional knowledge of HTML, PHP, JAVA, JABBER and OpenSource technologies. * Good interpersonal , project management and communication skills.
