Title: Sr. System Engineer

Job Description
Primary Job Functions:
Provide Level 3 support for the project. Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web based tools and email. Advise customers regarding the product's proper use and address specific issues. During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers, vendors and engineering. As part of this role the candidate may have to produce scripts or document to help site support to remediate known issues.

Technical Skills Requirement:
• Must have extensive experience with full implementation and setup of Windows XP/7 on a global scale (7 years)
• Must have extensive experience with application troubleshooting
• Must be able to take charge and drive solutions during high profile incidents leading teams (technical and non-technical) through effective and efficient incident resolution
• SQL querying skills, scripting and web automation skills advantageous (including ASP .NET) (2 years)
• Advanced skills in MS Windows XP/7, Advanced Windows XP/7 troubleshooting – preferably MCSE
• Sound understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory)
• Demonstrated project management/assessment skills with a track record of delivery

Non-Technical Skills Requirement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment – preferably in the financial industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with customers within the business units.
• Ability to work with users', developers and other technicians with varying IT backgrounds
• Flexible working hours to accommodate critical activity essential
• Team player that is willing to take recommendations from other members of the team and hold other members of the team accountable
• Need to be able to multi-task and use time effectively
• Passion for the Client and Client Service
• Anticipates trends and developments in client situation which could represent strategic opportunities or threats
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (e.g. Incident Management, Problem Management and Release Management)
