Position: Network Architect Work Location: Singapore Job Description: Network Architect • 8 + years of Experience • CCIE Lab Certified is preferred • Should have hands-on 6500, 3750 stacking. • Technologies: WAN, LAN, DC Networks • Products: Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco 65xx, 45xx, 37xx, • WAN: IP Routing, Multi-Layer Switching, ACL's, NAT • Routing: Cisco 4000 / 4500 / 6500, Protocols include RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, L3 VPN's, IPSec, VPNs, ACL's, NAT, CoS • LAN/Switching: Cisco Catalyst 3500 / 3550 / 3700 / 3900 / 4000 / 6500 series switches, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.1q, ISL, Ether Channel, SNMP, VSS, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, • (LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security/Unified Comms/Data Centre) and products knowledge essential • Experience in implementing solutions via controlled change control governance procedures • Comprehensive understanding of major data networking technologies and concepts Participate as ultimate escalation point for vendor/product & customer technical faults • Build, configure and deliver network integration solution • Producing 'as build' network project documentation • Transition all installed project handover to Operational Support • Attending internal and external project kick off meetings • Working with Presales and/or Design Consultant on the high level design approval Understand and deliver detailed customer requirements • Comprehensive understanding of major data networking technologies and concepts • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all major vendors products • Continually develop, maintain and apply expert technical knowledge and skills within vendor product and technology markets identified and defined by business and vendor portfolio • To lead the project implementation phase and be responsible for delivery of projects on time and on budget. • Network strategy and consultancy services. • Assessment and providing Recommendation reports • Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of customer • Propose and Validate BoM for Network Infrastructure solutions. • Preparing Scope of Work and Project Plans for the Solution. • Preparing High Level & Low Level designs as per proposed Solution. • Design and Implementation of Routing and Switching technologies. • Design and implementation of Data Centres. • Wireless LAN design, Implementation and Troubleshooting. • Design and Implementation of Advanced Technologies (WAN Optimization). • Maintaining the network's integrity at all times • Troubleshooting and repairing network issues, as well as developing, applying and enforcing best practices and policies • Monitoring and performing routine tests on an assigned system and reporting results. • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements • Contributing and producing regular status reports as required • Working with 3rd party hardware and Telco suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are met and issues escalated accordingly • Escalating overall none delivery issues in timely and structured manner as required • Providing day to day hands on technical support across multiple services • Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where team work is key to delivering and meeting client commitments • Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks and may coordinate/oversee work of others • Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents • Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion • Create project documentation and procedures Total Experience: Relevant Experience: Current Salary: Expected Salary: Notice Period: Current Location: Nationality: Shreyas Joshi Senior IT Recruiter | Silverlink Technologies UK: 02084320943 / 02033710702 / 2033711736 Sydney: 61-260750102 Melbourne: 61-391110296 Singapore: 65-31580385 India: 022- 42000612 Email ID: shreyas@silverlinktechnologies.com URL: www.silverlinktechnologies.com
