1) Network Administrator (No of Positions - 1)

Skills
Understanding of Networking basics, TCP/IP concepts, VPN concepts, Routing protocols, Wireless networks, WAN compression and Acceleration Devices (Riverbed, Silverpeak), Load Balancer, ACL, Firewall
Implementation of GM’s ISP&P and initiation and management security-related projects
Leading Network reviews and audits required for regulatory and policy compliance
Should have expertise in Configuring, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing Cisco CSS 11500 Series Content Switch and Cisco ACE 4710 Application Control Engine"
Acquires and applies skills and knowledge through training and/or documentation
Accepts changes in the GM environment, organizational structure, direction or priorities
Acquires knowledge of the GM’s business in assigned area
Acquires knowledge of the GM’s industry
Assists in the cost/benefit analysis of alternative technical solutions
Uses written communication to improve exchanges of information and relationships
Maintains knowledge of current technology through available training and individual study

2) Solaris System Administrator (No of Positions - 2)

Skills

1. Solaris System Administrator responsible for executing daily service delivery of planning, organizing, evaluating, troubleshooting, installing and tuning of multiple large Solaris systems in a centralized data center environment.
2. Responsible to support Customer specific Security policies and procedures including full User access support, support for internal and external audits and compliance testing.
3. Strong understanding and comprehension of ITIL fundamentals
4. Proficient with Zones and Container configuration, administration and maintenance
5. Sun Cluster administration and experience.
6. Experience with large scale EMC storage arrays utilizing a multi-tiered, multi-fabric, multi-path fibre channel environment of Cisco 9509 MDS switches.
7. Disaster recovery experience including data replication technologies
8. Operating system and third party application software Patching and customized scripting skills
9. Strong knowledge of Solaris OS fundamentals
10. Practical experience in Jumpstart Installation, Solaris Volume Manager (SVM), Veritas Volume Manager(VXVM), NFS, performance monitoring utilities and other core UNIX commands
11. Experience in SCSI, SSA, LTO and DLT tape drive and automated tape library technologies
12. Solid understanding of disk system concepts (RAID design, LUN creation, data replication) is needed
13. Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations
14. Preferred working experience in middleware support like BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere.

. Linux System Administrator (No of Positions - 1)
Linux System Administrator responsible for executing daily service delivery of planning, organizing, evaluating, troubleshooting, installing and tuning of multiple large Linux systems in a centralized data center environment
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of OS fundaments of various Linux flavours such as RHEL, SUSE.
2. Package management using rpm, yum etc
3. Experience in Software and Hardware RAIDs
4. Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations.
5. Solid concepts on LVM, NFS, performance monitoring utilities and other core UNIX commands.
6. Preferably SAN experience in a multi-fabric, multi-path fiber channel environment.
7. Disaster recovery experience including data replication technologies.
8. Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations.
9. Experience on Virtualization.
10. Knowledge of IP tables and server securities
11. Strong Networking fundamentals and interface configurations.
12. User management and OS Hardening.
13. Strong understanding and comprehension of ITIL fundamentals.

HPC Server administrator(No of position: 1)

Skills

1. Server Administrator responsible for executing service delivery of the following: evaluation, planning, configuration, installing, deployment tuning and troubleshooting multiple large scale clustered / highly available IBM AIX, Sun Solaris and Linux HPC environments.
2. Project management and documentation skills
3. Strong understanding and comprehension of ITIL fundamentals
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to liaise effectively with technical support staff, end users, client office locations, operations and field service personnel
5. Exposure on high speed interconnect (i.e. Infiniband)
6. Proficient in system performance measurement and optimization
7. Parallel and serial processing within an HPC clustered environment
8. Practical experience in IBM Network Installation Manager (NIM), HP and Platform Cluster manager, Logical Volume Manager (LVM), NFS, performance monitoring utilities and other core UNIX / Linux commands
9. Familiarity with CAE applications (i.e. Fluent, Ensight Abaqus, Nastran, StarCD/CCM+, MagmaSoft)
10. Comprehensive LPAR configuration, deployment, administration, management and analysis / diagnosis skills
11. Experienced with configuration, deployment and analysis / diagnosis skills within large scale IBM, and EMC multi-tiered storage arrays
12. Solid understanding of disk system concepts (RAID design, LUN creation, data replication) file system and file system management are required
13. In depth disaster recovery experience including experience with remote data replication technologies
14. Third party application software configuration, installation, deployment and patching skills
15. Strong knowledge of OS fundamentals for all currently supported AIX, Solaris and Linux flavours
16. Ability to support customer defined monitoring, maintenance and reporting requirements using Operating system commands, commercial, open source and locally developed tools as well as shell scripts
17. Experience in SCSI, SSA, LTO and DLT tape drive and automated tape library technologies
18. In Depth experience in batch queuing and scheduling systems

6. Job Roles: Database Administrator – Oracle Skills
1. Should have an extensive experience in architecture, design and Implementation of Oracle 10g/11g Databases.
2. Design and assist in building of distributed environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production etc.)
3. Participate in definition and implementation of technology roadmaps
4. Working knowledge in creating the databases & configuring it according to application team requirements
5. Continuously follow new software releases/upgrades, test and implement
6. Knowledge on building database standards and hardening
7. Excellent in interacting with vendors, understand the product/technology lifecycle, follow end-of-life and provide recommendation for changes/upgrades
8. Understands the vulnerabilities, follow the security bulletins, recommend, test and implement security fixes, changes in the versions and releases
9. Deep knowledge of the technology to provide higher level troubleshooting and escalation support
10. Ability to coordinate the design and implementation of many components with scalability, availability, security, manageability and performance architectures
11. Excellent written and verbal communications. Ability to understand customer requirements and map to the technology
12. Cross functional RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server)
13. Scripting experience (Shell /PERL/VB)
14. OCM / OCP in Database administration (Preferably 10g)
15. Should have worked in SLA driven environment
16. Knowledge on ITIL V3 standards
17. Database/repository Design and Architecture including security, compliance and backup/recovery
18. L3 Database administration including optimization and performance tuning
19. Identification of new and emerging technologies and products, services, methods and techniques and the assessment of their relevance and potential value to an organization.
