Job role: Technical Support Engineer (level 2 support -Voice)
Job type: Permanent
Job Description:
⢠Provide level 2 support for Norton products(NIS/NAV/N360) by handling escalations from vendors & ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction on the cases handled.
⢠Last point of contact for all escalations.
⢠Interact with the engineering team to find solution for unresolved issues.
⢠Work hand in hand with content management team to develop knowledge base articles.
⢠Get to work on different technologies such as mail, networking, virus removal and OS.
⢠Should be able to research / perform deeper analysis of issues using available resources.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
⢠Expert level familiarity of Operating Systems (Windows 2000/NT, 9x, ME, XP, Vista & 7)
⢠Knowledge of internet technologies (Dial up, DSL, Cable Modem)
⢠Basic knowledge of firewall and antivirus concepts
Communication Skills (Soft skills & Language Skills) :
⢠Exemplary customer service focus
⢠Verbal and chat etiquette skills â Articulate & friendly tone
⢠Sensitized to customer needs and expectations, including cultural gap
⢠Ability to make a point without generating conflict and substantiate it with data
Experience: Experience working in an English speaking contact centre handling IT & Security products such as Norton Anti Virus for 2 year or more in the same role.
Total IT Experience: 2 to 7 years.
Job location: Chennai.
