Qualified candidates must have a BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS preferred or equivalent experience, and must have technical expertise in SONET/CES/TDM /DS3/E3/DS1/E1 technologies. The successful candidate must have working knowledge on networking protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, ATM, FR, VPLS, Martini and MPLS. Experience with large network implementation and supporting architectures, and one must possess ability to handle real time network trouble shooting in a stressed environment. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, effective communications and documentation skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic group environment. Experience with network test equipments is desired. Knowledge of software/hardware interactions is a bonus. The candidate should be able to coordinate with and work with multiple groups like system engineering, software development/sustaining, marketing. The successful candidate should be able to multi-task and work in a high visibility and fast paced and high pressure environment.
