Dear Saminath, Hi all we are looking for " Senior/ System Engineer " Work Location: Singapore. Exp: 4 + Yrs. Responsibilities: As a key team member of the Professional Services (Infrastructure & Platform Team), you will focus primarily on the IT infrastructure and desktop support services for internal operations and strategic customers' IT requirements and user support. You may perform the following: • Perform daily system administration ensuring all IT systems are running without failure, among other things but not limited to, network connectivity, computing servers are backed up and data is secure from unauthorised access • Provide hardware support for printers, monitors, Desktop PCs, Laptops, smartphone devices • Identify, investigate and research user questions and problems as well as isolating and resolving information systems problems • Perform problem management (analysis for frequently occurred incident – solve root cause) and troubleshooting of network operating problems, desktop applications, hardware cause identification and resolution • Source, evaluate and test new software and configuring applications • Research the latest IT industry practices and technologies as well as emerging threats and vulnerabilities • Constantly analyze, review and maintain the IT security baseline required by performing risk and vulnerabilities assessment to ensure the balancing of the resources available and the requirement of sufficient security measures. • Manage/participate in new setup or upgrade of systems, and monitor system utilization • Assist in the procurement and coordination of hardware components and software products from vendors/suppliers • Assist in any other duties as assigned from time to time, where applicable • Administer email accounts, user profiles, and distribution lists Requirements: • Degree in Information Technology, computer science or related discipline • Preferably senior executives with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in network, system and desktop support, installation, maintenance as well as troubleshooting • Familiar with Microsoft technologies and platforms in servers and workstations, virtual environment setup & configuration ; and software products such as Win2008 Server, Office Suite, SQL, etc , with good working knowledge of PC troubleshooting, TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, Router, Anti-virus, Data Encryption, NAS and network administration • Having knowledge in enterprise application support, deployment of Microsoft Office 365 will be an added advantage • Must be a team player and yet able to work independently with minimum supervision • Results-oriented, good interpersonal skills and positive attitude Details Required: C Salary: E Salary: Notice Period: Total Exp: Relevant Exp: Visa Status: Please Send your profile to: sandeep.birdi@verinon.com
