Willingness to relocate to USA Position: Network Security Consultant (L3) Experience Required: 5-10 years Educational Qualification: Computer Engineer / MCA Job location - USA Job Responsibility: • Tier 2 technical support and system trouble shooting for network management systems and service calls • Appropriate documentation of call information & resolutions in internal trouble ticketing system • Respond to and manage customer network alerts from solar winds and other systems per defined processes • Customer Support – answer customer calls for networking support, guide them through defined procedures, and document the interaction and resolution of the incident in designated systems • Other tasks and projects as assigned Skill Set required: • Good understanding of networking, telephony fundamentals, dsl, private networks, t1's, and carrier services • Experience with low-voltage cabling and troubleshooting infrastructure. • Extensive experience with firewalls • Experience with SNMP management systems, especially Solar Winds. Also experience with centralized control of firewalls, VPN management, UTM management, and sys logging. • Customer service and team-oriented attitude-must be able to work with USA office, and build productive relationships • Good phone skills for support of customers, and of remote field technicians • Ability to multi-task on a continual and consistent basis, be a self-starter, and be extremely organized. • Ability to communicate with different levels of technical skill sets from a customer layperson to an advanced engineer • Ability to make sound decisions based on information provided by customers and remote field support personnel.
