Dear Saminath, Hi , We have an opening with our client in chennai for "TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER" / Technical Escalation Engineer – Development engineer role. Exp:- 12 – 20+ yrs Job Location: Chennai This role is responsible for resolving complex hardware and software problems in high speed networking environments. This engineer will respond to situations where first and second line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems. This person will work closely with Development Engineering when a problem cannot be resolved. The Escalation TSE should also have advanced knowledge/expertise in high speed networking and be well versed in competing technologies, competitive product features, configurations, and industry direction. The Senior TSE is also responsible for managing major accounts and resolving critical customer issues. Other responsibilities include, but limited to, replicating customer networks, documenting customer networks, mentoring junior engineers, making recommendations for product and process improvements, and helping other team members. • Technical account management for partners and critical end-user customers. • Managing service requests to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow ups are done in a timely manner. • Provide consistent fault isolation and root cause analysis. • Author and review Technical Field Alerts and Knowledgebase articles • Review of technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, OEM manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc. • Travel to customer sites around the world in the event of a critical situation to expedite resolution as required. • Expert level troubleshooting skills • Extensive knowledge of following protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, Multicast, RIP, STP, MSTP, PVST, RSTP. • Strong understanding of following networking technologies: Switching and Routing, TCP/IP, VRRP, 802.1Q, QoS, Policy Based Routing, ACL, WAN Protocols, firewall, load-balancer, packet sniffing • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Good working Knowledge in both Unix and Windows environment • Working knowledge of MPLS and IPv6 are desirable. • Experience in ISP Environment or large Data Center network is highly desirable • Experience in a QA or Dev-test environment is a plus.
