Experience required for the Job: 6 - 10 years Job Location: Bengaluru/Bangalore Dear Candidate, Responsibilities The Solution Architect will work directly with external customers and will support the Engagement Practices and other Practice Area within IP & Core and GSC India to define and provide technical solutions that enhance the customer's competitive position. * This role demands positive mind-set, hands on delivery experience, understanding end - to - end customer requirements, risk taking appetite. * The Solution Architect plans, designs and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality, end-user-services, and competence built up etc. * Analyze complex customer requirements and evaluate high level solutions and prepare detailed technical E2E solutions in new areas and domains, within the framework, required to enhance customer's competitive position. * Select or propose 3rd party suppliers/products for the Customer Solution. Is able to work with and manage customized solutions and products, including 3rd party products. * Support customized solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network. * Drive changes in the methods, processes and guidelines within the customer organization or internally. Also acts as a leader/mentor in day to day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues * Drive Lead Generation / Add on Sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes * Formulate test plans and use cases as per configuration and network features bought by customer. * Prepare Impact Reports for feature implementation. * Assist/Support during contract/commercial negotiations, in the Services Scoping of the Integration Service Delivery. * Involvement in Interoperability/Verification activities for competence build-up of New Products at Preparation for Migration plans * Support preparation for System demo / Acceptance / Use Cases as required. * Providing technical solutions / suggestions to problems reported * Demonstrate high skills in Telecom Products & Technologies, IPv6,MPLS, EPC, IP BB & Core technologies * Lead a team of Integration & Configuration Engineers and hold E2E responsibility for Service Delivery as per Customer Contract and plan Competence requirements Educational Background: BE/B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA Experience : 6-10 years experience in Telecom / IT Consulting & Pre-Sales / Solution Implementation, preferably certified SA or PMP or similar areas. Pertinent Experience: Having track record as a Solution Architect in the area of IP BB, Packet Core and or Network Operations Technical Competence: * Excellent in-depth understanding of Telco IP/MPLS Backbone, IP & BB , Core ( CS & PS),EPC solutions, but not limited, in the following areas: o Experience in IP v6 readiness check o Knowledge of IP v6 transition strategies o Experience in IPv6 planning and designing o Consulting & Customer engagement experience of End to End IPv6 migration in telecom network o IP/MPLS backbone, 6PE, 6VPE, IGP o IPv6 deployment for VPNv6 services o IPv6 QOS,IPv6 Security,OSPFv3 o IP Audit Tools , Consulting Client with Audit Reports and Best Practices o OSS/BSS - KPI reporting, Delay ,Latency, Jitter,etc * Very strong knowledge on IP/MPLS Backbone and its nodes transition, has very good skill to analyze the network impact of the offered IPv6 solution towards network implementation, has ability to assist project in defining the risk and managing it. * Excellent understanding of design, migration, integration, and network performance processes and methodologies. * Excellent knowledge of Ericsson Core products and services. * Proven technical capabilities with IPv6 commercial project deployment as an Experienced SA Design/Integration (Senior will be an added advantage) * Strong IP architecture design & integration capabilities and dimensioning * principles. * Excellent knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, * HTTP, Radius, Diameter etc).
