Please find the JD Below: Role description: * Work with highly knowledgeable group of customers and as escalation point for other TAC groups within the organization. * Troubleshoot complicated hardware and software issues, replicate customer network scenarios and network problems in the lab. * Provide technical expertise and guidance during testing, deployment and operational phases. Manage critical customer issues and facilitate communication between customers, escalation, and engineering. * Co ordinate with Development engineers for the fix and test the fix in the lab environment before offering to customer. * Supporting customers during maintenance activities and provide online trouble shooting tips * Participate in tasks such as new product development projects, Knowledge base creation, Chalk talk and other documentation activities. Help improve processes and tools. * Attend release readiness reviews with engineering team and provide TAC feedback based on customer experience Requirements Requires with 8+ years of experience in Routing and Switching Protocols[L2,L3].Candidates who have worked extensively on routing protocols, multicasting, MPLS etc Basic requirements include (but not limited to) the following: * In-depth knowledge of L2,L3 technologies and protocols like VLANs, VLAN Tagging (IEEE 802.1q), LACP, VLAN trunking, STP (IEEE 802.1D and other 802.1 implementations.). * IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP),Routers, Switches, * Multicasting, MPLS,etc.. * Train and mentor junior engineers and other members of the Network Operations department * Excellent verbal and written communication and customer interactive skills.
