1. Must have worked with IDS/IPS with at least 6 years of experience; more on the data correlation and understanding the Impact of the alerts. Primirally communicate with the customer with respect to the impact and suggest the mitigation plan.
2. Should have experience on IDS/IPS alert monitoring tools: Preferably Sourcefire and Stealth watch and understanding the correlation between both the devices and informing the customer regarding the same.
3. Should have at least 4 - 5 year experience with either envision or ArcSight.
4. Must have experience on managing the Firewalls and Vulnerability assessments; Understanding the definition pf the corporate security policy suggesting improvements with respect to the policy regarding IDS/IPS/Firewall. Understanding the impact of the security policy and communicating back to the customer.
5. Should be able to do event correlation on the alerts from the security monitoring tools.
6. Security certified (IDS/IPS) engineer would be preferred.
7. Firewall certification would be an added advantage
8. Must have basic knowledge of networking, CCNA is a must.
9. Candidate should have good oral and written communication skills
10. The position is based out of Bangalore and the Candidate should be willing enough to work in shifts 24x7
