- Role Responsibilities:
- Enable new functionality in SAP PP & PM / other IT systems
- Implement changes in processes in SAP as applicable and as required by users relating to PP and PM.
- Integrate SAP with other systems as required. Focus on shop floor integration with IT.
- Training new and existing users on SAP PP and PM.
- Identify potential areas in SAP / IT which can bring in business benefits
- Co-ordinate with other modules such as FICO, SD, MM, PLM, etc., which have an impact on PP and PM modules to ensure the company’s requirements are met in a consistent manner.
- Trouble shooting / Clarifications to users
- Provide reports to users working with the ABAP team or through business intelligence
- Provide work around to users whenever SAP does not meet the requirements directly.
- Should have very good knowledge in configuring in SAP any business process that relates to PP and PM. Preferable to be certified in SAP PP. Training on PM is required. Training on how to work in a team, communication and presentation can greatly help.
- Educational Qualification:
- An engineering graduate or a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical engineering .
- Work Expierence:
- Must have worked in stores / Materials management / Production planning function for a minimum period of 2 years in a computerized environment.
- Exposure to SAP preferred. Should be a team worker.
- Should also have exposure to the plant maintenance activities carried out.
- Exposure to TPM and Lean Manufacturing is also a must.
