Front Office Applications Developer - Exciting Role with high degree of visibility to Business

Our Client, a Global Bank, is hiring for a Senior Technologist at a level ranging from Analyst to VP Level

Skills required

Excellent Java OR C#/.NET programming
Database & scripting-Perl/Python
Knowledge of production environment & scheduling tools
Level 3 Support of mission critical trading systems
Understanding of Derivatives trading & associated trade flow
Ability to understand & translate front office business requirements

Desirable Skills(but not essential):

Advanced knowledge on Risk & Pricing of assets
Numerate degree-Computer Science, Financial Engineering Or Mathematics

Roles & Responsibilities

Writing Greenfield mission critical software in the core technologies listed
Designing software and producing scalable and resilient technical designs
understanding Business Requirements and designing new modules/functionality which meet needs
Working in close tandem with front office & support mission critical applications
