Our India Delivery Center or Technical Support based at Chennai, has two divisions

Enterprise Technology Application Support Division (ETAS) and Customer Technology Application Support Division (CTAS). It provides technology support services to global clients, round the clock.

You must have the efficiency to interface with international customers,provide remote Technical support on implementation of technology using various networking products & applications and resolve product related issues through research and troubleshooting.


1.Should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting high-end networks

2.The ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving andtrouble-shooting skills.

3.Quality focus, result & goal orientation in a group situation, and commitment to customer delight are a must.

4.Sound fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Networking Security Concepts

5. Should relocate to Chennai & work on 24/7 environment.


POSITION:-

Network Specalist - Wireless Support

LOCATION:-

Chennai, India
Job Profile:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for providing Tier 2 troubleshooting for various technologies

The Tier 2 NSE is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Respond to Tier 1,2 escalations with a higher level of expertise in a specific technology area
• Have in-depth product and wireless technology knowledge
• Be familiar with the technical environment including integrated 3rd party products
• Confirm that a hardware or software failure has occurred
• Utilize appropriate test equipment
• Analyze traces; gather specific failure data
• Work with customer to recreate problem in technical support lab and document results
• Provide an existing fix or work-around solution
• Proactively keep customers in the loop with the progress of the reported issue
• Review/escalate issue to client Support in a timely manner
• Create knowledgebase articles (screened and approved by client Support)
• Share knowledge and be capable of training the Tier 1 support engineer

Minimum of 3 years experience (at least 1 year as a Support engineer) in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging and administering some of the following Wireless LAN products and technologies:

• Wireless Access Points (LWAPP a plus)
• Wireless Client Associations
• Wireless Controllers
• WiMax
• Cable DSL, T1/E1
• Understanding of RF transmissions & antenna behavior
• WLAN Security in the areas of authentication, encryption, RADIUS, AAA authentication, EAP, PSK, etc
• Solid working experience with 802.11a/b/g/i standards and knowledge of 802.11n
• Linux system administration and configuration experience
• Ability to use protocol analyzers tools such as OmniPeek and Wireshark
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IGMP, and Routing (Layer 2 & 3 communication)
