WIMS - Program description

The selected candidates would indulge in On the job training within Wipro five days a week. They would simultaneously be provided an opportunity to pursue a Master of Science (M.S) in Systems Engineering course from the prestigious BITS, Pilani over the weekend and one day will be weekly off.

Upon successful completion of the MS program in four years, the students will be absorbed as full time employees of Wipro. Shortlisted candidates have to sign a bond of 4 years for Rs. 75,000. However there is no condition that they should continue working in the company upon successful completion of the MS program. Bank loan facility is available for the same.

Wipro will fund the entire admission/semester course fees of the 4 years of education and the student would be eligible for a monthly scholarship as well.

This includes collecting and describing cuttings and cores, advising drilling personnel at well site of expected lithological sequence, pay zones, casing depth, rate of penetration and possible hazardous intervals ensure the execution of logging programmes, interpretation of lithology and drilling fluid condition.

Prepare geological well forecasts and structural prediction through interpretation and analysis of wire line logs, Geological maps and core data, and prepares Final Well Report related to his assignment for supervisor’s review.
