JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience: 6 to 10 Yrs in Core Firewall products and other Security Products
Certification: CCNA/CCSP/CCSP is mandatory, some certification in firewall/security required
Other Skills Troubleshooting of Check Point / Sonic / Pix Firewall
Good Neutral English Speaking / Written Skills are Mandatory
Good Academic Track record in all Years
Roles
1. Perform Advanced Problem Determination / Resolution – owns problem through resolution
2. Vendor management as appropriate (open ticket with vendor and escalate as appropriate)
3. Documenting actions in the problem record
4. Own Network changes
5. Own implementation of product fixes and upgrades (IOS, etc.)
6. Engage architects and design teams as appropriate
7. Own implementation and compliance with all applicable security standards (ITCS 104, GSD 331, etc.)
8. Engage hands and eyes support as required
9. Own the RCA
