System and Network Engineers

As a System and Network Engineer, you shall perform the following main roles:

1. Provide systems administration and technical support.
2. Implement and manage the network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, hubs, firewalls, communication lines and structured cabling.
3. Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, hardening and patches.
4. Pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify systems and database related problems to ensure maximum uptime.
5. Support new IT Projects which require systems or network implementation.

Job Requirements:

1. A Degree in Computer Science, Systems Management, Information Technology, Information System, Engineering, Science or its equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in an Enterprise environment.
2. MCSE, CCNA or CCNP certification will be preferred.
3. Good working experience with Active Directory and Clustering technology, as well as, Networking, Firewall and Security.
4. Proficient in Windows scripting and Network Management System.
5. Good understanding of OSI layers.
6. Experience with Enterprise Backup and Management software (such as Veritas Netbackup), as well as, Systems Monitoring and Management tools are preferred.
7. Analytical and possess good troubleshooting skills.
8. A self-initiated and pro-active team player who can work with minimal supervision.
