Responsibilities: 

• To manage the Information security practices across locations.
• To recommend course of action during emergencies and for new requirements.
• To interface with vendors reg. their performance and support
• To escalate problem areas, concerns and support issues.
• Authorize removal of users when not complying with Information Security Policy
• Creation of an information security policy and continuous revision of the same
• Environment scanning to understand potentially new threats.
• Periodical test on external and internal vulnerabilities and threats.
• Continuous training and awareness creation on Information Security of TVS-M employees
• Reporting, investigation on incidences where Information security policies have been violated.
• Information security risk management.
• Ensuring information security is built into all IT infrastructure and practices.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Microsoft products, Lotus Notes & ITN.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in Network/System Engineer or equivalent.
• 1 Full-Time positions available.
• A person with Engineering/ Computer qualifications with adequate exposure to the working of Data centre, Servers, LAN/WAN and peripherals Requires leadership skills, team building skills, project management, Process orientation and communication skills. Hands on experience in Windows based servers - Installation, configuration, fine tuning of parameters, LAN & WAN connectivity and Messaging applications. Also needs to know the potential risks in these areas which need to be protected against. Needs a high level of integrity. Requires a cool temperament and patience to manage critical situations and ready to take on new challenges.
