Currently we are looking for Senior IT Helpdesk Consultant!
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on user questions, problems, or malfunctions of all system applications, hardware and software installed or maintained by IT for the Local Development users in the Region Asia Pacific
  Interprets, evaluates, and resolves, if possible, telephone inquiries pertaining to the functional operation of all installed application hardware and software products supported by IT.
  Analyzes simple to moderately complex inquiries, resolves problems when possible and/or determines appropriate technical area or vendor to resolve problems.
  Consults with IT professionals when the appropriate course of action is unclear.
  Follows up on specific inquiries or requests to ensure user/customer satisfaction.
  Reports procedures and makes suggestions for improvements.
  Applies knowledge of overall systems & landscape as appropriate.
  Performs related duties as assigned.
  Coordinates with the Local IT/Regional Helpdesks to ensure prompt resolution and follow up on Client Infrastructure related issues
  Coordinates with Local IT Application support organization to ensure prompt resolution and follow up on application related issues
Skills Required  
  Ensure stable and well performing system environment by resolving user issues in a timely and efficient manner (# of closed tickets, # of days outstanding for open tickets, etc.)
  Apply professional competencies to administrate and optimize the assigned system environment.
  Implement levels of best practice (price/performance etc.).
  Support 50+ Users distributed in the APAC region (Singapore, China, Thailand, Philippines, Australia, Korea, India)
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  Requires a technical degree in Information Science, CS, or equivalent skill gained through experience coupled with 3+ years of experience in systems (hardware and software) support  in a Technical and/or application helpdesk organization
  Excellent knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, MS-Office, Sharepoint, 
  Experienced in the setup, optimization and utilization of Notebooks, Mobility devices like Blackberries, iPhone and their issues
  Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  Individual must be a self-starter who can interact well with IT and other internal groups if requested. Must possess strong analytical interpersonal, and communication skills and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a globally distributed team environment
Work location: Singapore 
Job type: Contract (6 months to 1 year)
