GBM Group Treasury Technology are undertaking a transformational investment programme and building a BAU support team for RBS Group Treasury (GT) as much of GT’s infrastructure is hosted in GBM data centres. The core applications are Bancware, Cognos, HedgeManager, Garnet and Power Center, but there are a number of smaller applications completing a complex technology environment. GBM is positioning itself as the technology provider of choice for GT. We are looking to hire a support analyst to provide second-level support to this portfolio of applications. Essential experience: MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008, including advanced T-SQL experience Development or support Microsoft SSIS ETL packages Windows scripting – VB Script and/or Powershell. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be an analytical and multi-talented individual with strong Microsoft T-SQL and SSIS experience (as a super-user/developer) combined with a solid infrastructure and ITIL-based service management appreciation.
