Responsibilities: o Oversee, lead and maintain a team of 5 to 6 Desktop Engineers in providing day to day support to users o Able to manage engineers' performance, users' expectation as well as committed to meeting SLA o Past experience in IT asset management o Assemble and configure computer hardware. o Install and manage operating system on desktops and laptops. o Install and manage antivirus software on desktops and laptops. o Install and manage computers to join Active Directory domain. o Install and manage peripheral devices such as printers and scanners on computers. o Install and manage user profiles on computers. o Install and manage email software settings on computers. o Configure and troubleshoot email accounts on mobile phones and handheld devices. o Install and manage wireless access points. o Manage Active Directory user accounts on servers. o Troubleshoot printing issues on computers. o Troubleshoot computer network issues. o Troubleshoot virus/spyware issues on computers. o Monitor backup jobs on servers. o Monitor antivirus status on servers. o Monitor server storage capacity. o Create and manage shared folders on server. o Perform routine checks on servers. o Prepare technical documentation. o Coordinate with other IT vendors to fix IT problems. o Manage task schedule of other engineers. o Occasionally perform technical tasks on-site.
