Technical Analyst – Mobile Support
Job Responsibilities:
Verizon International is setting up a one-stop-shop for Verizon internal customers to procure, manage and support mobile devices. Verizon is therefore looking for a Mobile Support Technician with the following Job responsibilities:
- Day-to-day support of Mobile devices including hardware/software support.
- Assists staff with application installation, troubleshooting, upgrades to mobile devices.
- Assists in coordinating special projects including hardware/software purchases, system installation and problem solving.
- Procurement of devices and associated Licenses.
- Manage asset tracking and the reclamation process
- Device certification
- Building and maintaining a knowledge base
- Actively work on customer tickets and contribute to Verizon internal social feeds.
- On Call Support
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience in using Mobile devices like Blackberry, Android, iPhone and/or iPad devices
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work/learn as part of an international dispersed team
- Experience working in a challenging and fast paced environment, must work well under sustained pressure, be self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, can-do attitude, urgency and drive
- Ability to work on tasks, and projects with minimum supervision
- Fluent in English both verbally and written.
- Knowledge and familiar with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Good for the Enterprise
