Below is general Job Description applicable for 4 to 10years experience candidates for Engineer/Sr.Engineer/ Leads positions
*Lead complex Network & Security projects in Planning & Implementation for multiple customers simultaneously.
*Independently handle complex changes & qualify to be the highest point of escalations/queries for enterprise level Network & Security issues.
*Analyse and suggest solutions for customer requirements in stipulated SLA timelines and earn customer trust.
*Work on multiple network changes/technologies simultaneously.
*Responsible to maintain relevant technical documentation.
*Work with engineers across the organization to learn & understand areas in which technology expertise can be built, relevant to the organization's objectives.
*Conduct trainings and mentor senior resources in the team.
Mandatory Skills
*Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills.
*Prior Experience of NOC environments supporting multiple customers & complex networks in a 24x7 environment.
*JunOS Track JNCIS/JNCIP is a must.
*Cisco Security CCNP will be preferred. Specialization in Cisco ASA is an added advantage.
*Strong understanding & extensive hands-on experience with configuring & troubleshooting MPLS Networks & routing protocols like BGP, IS-IS & OSPF.
*Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Rules, Network Address Translation (NAT) and Site-to-Site VPNs on any of Cisco, Netscreen, Checkpoint firewall platforms.
*Very good understanding of LAN technologies, Loadbalancers, IP subnetting and TCP/IP model. IPv6 knowledge is a plus.
*Knowledge or experience of DNS/BIND, Leased Lines and/or Asset Commissioning/Decommissioning is an added advantage.
*Should be able to recommend adjustments to a wide variety of complex network management functions with responsibility for overall performance and availability of Networks.
*Highly motivated & Self driven with a proven ability to perform multi-tasking.
