Dear Candidate, We have openning for below requirement: Job Desc: Operation Engineer (OE) - Networking Experience: Minimum of 4 - 9 years experience in LAN/WAN deployment and support Education: Should have a Diploma or Engineering in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical Location: Offshore (Bangalore). Profile:- Training Operations team on technologies Defining and documenting operations tasks Define, document and manage implementation of network-wide changes Propose new solutions Project Planning Execution, Project status review Working with inshore/offshore team for transition, Coordination with other project team Defining acceptance criteria, Define KT&T requirements. Reviewing operations readiness Skill Set: Exposure to ITIL best practices would be desirable Exposure to configuration and Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers and Switches Exposure to WAN Technologies like PPP, ISDN, Frame-Relay, ISDN, EIGRP, BGP Exposure to LAN technologies like, Vlan, VTP, HSRP, STP Exposure to Network Management tools like Cisco Works, WhatsupGold, MRTG etc Certifications: CCNA / CCNP Job Desc: 3rd level troubleshooting involving Routers, Switches and to some extent VPN devices. Event and Incident management for escalated issues. Respond to high level alerts from MRTG, WhatsUp, CiscoWorks and NOC OM Coordinate with OIC to manage incidents and ensure resolution within SLA Report Verification. OOHS support for Network related issues. Problem Management as per ITIL stds. Project Management. Capacity management. Change management. Release Management.
