Position: Senior IP Engineer
Location: Malaysia

Job title: Senior IP Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Perform overall IP network architecture design to support client’s network products and services, including but not limited to Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), MPLS Virtual Private Network (MPLS VPN), BGP, and etc.
• Provide solutions on latest IP based products and technology.
• Provide Level 3 technical support on problem resolution.
• Liaise, coordinate, and be involved with the projects on service improvement and optimization.
• Review, revise and recommend Standard Operation Procedures to optimize operations efficiency.
• Conduct trainings and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate members of the SOC staff, assisting them in their technical and professional development

Requirements:
• Possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology. Possessing industry certifications (CCNP/CCIP/JNCIS or above) is a MUST.
• Possess strong knowledge in the following:
• TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS and BGP, with at least five year of hands on operations experience. Experience in IPV6, MPLS and MPLS VPN is a must.
• Layer 1 technology understanding such as SDH, DWDM, Optical etc.
• Data communication equipments across multiple platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei etc.).
• Network Management Systems (MRTG, RANCID, Syslog, etc.)
• Firewalls, AAA, UNIX and other Internet applications (DNS, VoIP, etc.).
• Have a strong passion in networking, as well as the drive and energy to pursue a career in this field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain composed and professional in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Customer and service oriented
• A self-starter who is able to work independently, as well as in a team
