Requirements:
This position requires a CS/CE/EE Bachelor's degree with 7+ years or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant technical experience. .

A solid understanding and/or experience in either L2 OR L3 in any of the following embedded switching technology areas:
- L2 Forwarding, 802.3ad, 802.1ad, 802.1ah PBB, ELINE, ELAN, VPLS and MPLS.
- Knowledge of L2 Protocols such as 802.1d STP, 802.1w RSTP, 802.1s MSTP, IGMP snooping etc.
- L3 Routing IPv4, IPv6, ECMP and knowledge of L3 Protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, PIM etc.
- Excellent C programming skills and algorithms are a must!
- A good understanding of the product release cycle, and technology and product boundaries in order to phase in complex functionality based on market timing and customer needs.
- Integrating third party components and software, network processor microcode based development desirable.
- Experience with Service Provider and an Understanding of Data Center technologies, a plus.
- Experience in T1/E1 technologies and development in Mobile Backhaul development
- Exposure to Broadcom chipsets, their programming
-Exposure to Wintegra chipsets, their programming.
