Greetings, we have an urgent requirement for Technical Support Analyst/System Administrator (Linux Administrator) for chennai location.
JD
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in support engineering or system administration for a software firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good Technical, Logical, Analytical and Probing skills.
• 2-3 years experience in system administration (Linux, Unix, Solaris). Preferable a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
• Experience with UNIX scripting (Shell, Python, Perl).
• Experience using database management tools (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Knowledge of web application fundamentals (CSS, Java, Apache, SSL, X509 certificates, other web related technologies).
• Knowledge in version control tools (CVS, SVN, Perforce).
• Knowledge in networking concepts.
Job location : Chennai.
