JOBSUMMARY :
The successful candidate should have 3-10 years in data networking working in SQA, System Test and / or support organizations.
• Experience with Multiservice routers/switches preferred specially Tellabs 88xx series.
• Experience with other vendor routers and switches like Juniper/ Cisco would be a big plus.
• Strong working experience in wire-line and wireless network applications over Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding and control plane is highly desired.
• Qualified candidates must have a BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS preferred or equivalent experience, and must have technical expertise in SONET/CES/TDM /DS3/E3/DS1/E1 technologies.
• The successful candidate must have working knowledge on networking protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, ATM, FR, VPLS, Martini and MPLS.
• Experience with large network implementation and supporting architectures, and one must possess ability to handle real time network trouble shooting in a stressed environment.
• The candidate must have strong analytical skills, effective communications and documentation skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic group environment. Experience with network test equipments is desired.
• Knowledge of software/hardware interactions is a bonus.
• The candidate should be able to coordinate with and work with multiple groups like system engineering, software development/sustaining, marketing.
• The successful candidate should be able to multi-task and work in a high visibility and fast paced and high pressure environment.

• Experience with customer interaction and with Tier 1 Global Service Providers highly desired. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
