We have a urgent opening for the post of "Network/System Administrator", with one of our esteemed client in Electronics Security based out in Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

Experience: 8-10 Years (In network administration, PC-end- user support and
Hardware and software support are required.)
Location: New Delhi
Compensation: As per the Industry Standards.
Education: Graduate in CIS, MIS
Functional Area: Network/System Administrator

Description:

• Responsible for working of IT Infrastructure on network improvements and solutions.

• Handling of in house existing softwares.

• Resolving broader network issues which will span data transfer, connectivity, shared systems, telephone and videoconferencing, shared applications, hosting as well as several other issues that may be encountered through corporate integration activities.

• The position will insure that technical support is provided to end users, administer network resources to include hardware and software, data channels, data produced, and all applications are available to both internal and external parties to operate efficiently.

• All aspects of the network administration including management of accessibility and security by developing and maintaining a security access matrix to include permission rights of all employees and subcontractors.

• Server performance and backup system maintenance and continually research expansion of existing server capabilities.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support through the internal IT help-desk as required and investigate external sources of support when necessary.

• Providing emergency service off hours as situations arise is required for this role.

Skills:

• The ideal candidate possesses superior communication skills, ability to prioritize effectively, have exceptional organizational skills, and a superior attention to detail.

• The ability to keep information confidential is a necessary requirement.


Technologies: Knowledge of VLANS, WAN (MPLS), VOIP, routing, switching, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), DNS, disaster recovery, monitoring, and maintenance are required.
