We are having an urgent position with our client McKinsey India (www.mckinsey.com) for Gurgaon location.

Position - Security Engineer (IT - Infrastructure Development)

Experience - 5 Years to 7 Years

Skills -

· B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc (Computer/Electronics)/MCA

· 5 -7 years of industry experience with security-related experience.

· Hands-on experience with security-related technologies such as anti-virus, intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, security assessment utilities, and content filtering utilities, etc.

· Knowledge of Altiris SWD & WISE a plus.

· Strong hands-on experience working with Intel-based client (Windows XP, Windows 7), server platforms (Windows Server 2003/2008) and VMWare.

· Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and remediation procedures. Symantec CCS and McAfee Vulnerability Manager knowledge a plus.

· Linux and/or AIX a plus.

· Strong analytical skills for report building.

· Some application development background (e.g. Java, Perl, C++) also a plus.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

* The Infrastructure Development group architects and implements the Firm' technical infrastructure, including groupware and messaging platforms, voice and data telecommunications networks, Internet connections, local area networks, and workstation images.
* They are also responsible for the Firm's IT security architecture and policy development.
* The goal of the IT Security team is to establish and maintain a comprehensive IT security strategy and architecture that builds awareness and ensures the integrity, availability and confidentiality of critical data and systems for the Firm.

* Participate in the development of IT security, technical standards, processes, and procedures.
* Collaborate with ITS teams to remediate existing vulnerabilities.
* Work proactively with other IT Security team members to research, evaluate, select, test and implement hardware and software systems that provide appropriate security functions
* Primary responsibilities percentage allocation:

Vulnerability remediation 50%

IT security engineering 50%
