Senior Manager – MPSL Services India
Summary

The Senior Product Manager for Global VPN Services creates and implements product and technology focused services that support the company's portfolio strategy to grow sales in the target markets and customer segments.The Senior Product Manager collaborates with other teams, including engineering, operations, IT, marketing and sales organization to ensure company-wide alignment and proper execution of product plans.This is a highly collaborative role requiring solid leadership, product and project management skills as well as a strong knowledge of the specific products and technologies in order to effectively launch and deliver services with a positive impact on our business.

Essential Duties

·         Support product and feature development efforts and drive regional product adaptations. Develop project plans and establish timelines.

• Develop and execute product strategy in cooperation with sales and other functional groups.
• Work with corporate engineering and operations teams, internal support and service delivery organizations, marketing team, and other functional groups to establish and revise processes for new and existing products.
• Serve as primary point-of-contact for resolving issues from product definition through implementation, and drive product sales.
• Provide sales and sales support teams with product expertise through workshops and trainings.
• Create and edit product documentation and training materials according overall marketing message.
• Other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualification

• 10 years of overall experience in a business/technical/IP/data services driven environment.
• 5 years of specific work experience in product management/development/marketing specific to VPN and Security products in the telecom industry.
• Must have successful track record in driving business network products through the full-life cycle.
• Solid business acumen, commercial understanding, and a strong personality
• International experience a plus and strongly preferred
   

Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision and produce results across multi-functional organizations.
• Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects
• Budgeting and cost management skills
• Ability to translate technical features into value propositions
• Strong knowledge of project management and product development.
• Expert knowledge of IP, MPLS, VPLS and IPSec protocols and associated technologies. 
• Knowledge in Application Optimization products a plus.
• Proven leadership capabilities and track record in managing multi-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office and Visio software; Excel programming experience preferred.
