Job Description: 

 

1. Disk management creating partitions for the different types of servers, Joining the machine to domain, Modification of network settings.

 

2.Configuration of Routing and remote access in case it has to be VPN server, Configuring terminal services   terminal server. Root Cause identification for repeated incidents and resolve as per SLA.

 

3. Auditing of servers   PATCH and security audits, NIS / NFS / AUTOFS Configuration, Basic Shell Scripting, LVM Administration.

 

4. Cluster Management and Administration, File system Administration (JFS, JFS2), LPAR / HPAR Administration, Consolidation of jobs, Event Driven job management.
