Role Summary
The Digital Operations team will Leverage Information Technologies to build and support an Infrastructure that will advance product quality, product simplification and reduce time to market.
The focus of this technical support Operation lead role includes designing and maintaining an IT infrastructure to support internal teams on product development, testing and customer support.
Essential Responsibilities
The Program Manager Business Solutions primary responsibility is to ensure stable IT operations through managing metric around service delivery, supporting IT infrastructure, business applications and maintaining acceptable internal Service Level Agreements.
Required technical skills are;
1. Windows 2003/NT, UNIX (Solaris, AIX, TRU64), LINUX (Redhat ES) server management at a technical hands-on level, including installation, configuration, administration and patching.
2. IT/Campus local area network management and associated wide area connectivity for enterprise class networks based on Cisco technologies.
3. HP Storage Area
4. Network configuration management and administration, Veritas/Legato backup software.
5. Network monitoring & Security aspects, common problems, and solutions (ACL, firewall configuration, filtering, and VPN).
6. Provide support and solutions for remote development access (VPN, Citrix, Remote Desktop).
7. Development and execution of IT investment strategy, supporting IT infrastructure, Product Development, Customer Service, Training, Commercial Operations, and Customer Projects.
8. Trouble ticket monitoring and support, local oversight of level 0 & 1 Deskside/Helpdesk vendor
9. Manage IT infrastructure and applications, developing detailed budgets and optimizing IT spend with measurable results.
10. Lead and implement IT infrastructure projects from design and procurement to implementation then documentation and maintain.
11. Provide technical hands-on management of IBM Rational software & configuration management toolsets.
12. efine Scope of Work packages with defined Service Level Agreements as needed to enable sustained operations with internal and external service
Providers and implement controls to ensure compliance and performance.
13. Respond to and provide timely reporting of IT/IM incidents from initiation through remediation, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
14. Collect and report operations and security metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related technical Field
2. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or proven experience as a System
Manager or Administrator

1. Experience working with and supporting network/server equipment
2. Experience of hardware virtualization technologies
3. Experience of Storage Area Networks
4. Experience with networking and security platform design and administration
5. Experience of Software configuration management tools
6. IT operations, system administration, systems management experience in a UNIX/Linux & MS Windows based server environment including Terminal Services and Citrix installations.
7. Thorough understanding of network security aspects, common problems, and solutions (ACL, firewalls and VPN)
8. Experience with commercial software development life cycles, associated processes and tools
