We have below Job requirement for our client for Our reputed client(HCL) for (Chennai)
Job Description:
Requirement No1.L2/L3 testing

Work location: Bangalore / Chennai
Exp: 3 to 12 yrs

Development

o Must have had extensive hands-on experience in C programming
o Development experience on a RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus) based network switching / routing platform essential
o Must have worked on at least one of the following:
• Layer 2 LAN protocols like MSTP, RSTP, PVST, LACP, VRRP
• Layer 3 protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast routing - PIM-SM, PIM-DM,DVMRP, IPv6
• Layer 4 – 7 protocol optimization
• MPLS, FIPS
• High Availability Features
• Management plane – SNMP, web server, CLI
• Development of networking ASIC drivers
• Should have worked in Kernel Internals, Device Driver in Networking or Embedded Domain


Job Location: Chennai/Bangalore

L2,L3,"layer 2",layer,protocol,OSPF, RIP,"IS-IS", VRRP,VRF,STP, RSTP, VLAN, PVLAN, QinQ, LAG, LACP, GVRP,BGP,RIP,TCP,UDP,TLS,PPP,VTP,MTP,IKE,IP4,IP6,IP,NAT,Firewall,,IGP,DHCP,EIGRP,RRC,GMM,SM,,CC,PDCP,MAC,RLC, MSTP, 802.1X, LLDP, ISIS,IGMP,PIM,MSDP,IPV6,IP,MPLS,LDP,Smartbits, IXIA

1) Extensive experience on Layer2/Layer3 Protocol testing (OSPF, VLAN, MPLS, BGP, IPV4 ROUTING, MULTICAST, RSTP, STP, IGMP, EIGRP, IS-IS, MSTP, HSRP, VSS, GVRP).
• Hands on Experience on any of the test tools such as AX400, RPT, SMARTBITS, IXIA, AGILENT.
• Experience in BGP and MPLS is added advantage
• Experience on Cisco & Juniper Routers and switches but must have testing experience rather than administration.
• Networking Certifications such as Cisco & juniper will be preferred but must have testing experience.
Candidates with Regression, Performance, and Scalability & System testing are also welcome with networking Background


• L2 Protocols like STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, 802.1X, LLDP, LAG, LACP
• L3 Protocols like RIP, OSPF, ISIS & BGP
• Multicast Protocols - IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM, Multi-VRF, MSDP, IPV6 Multicast
• IPV6 – RIPng, OSPFv3, ISIS, BGP4+
• MPLS – LDP, MPLS-TE, IPoMPLS
• Network Test tools like Spirent Test Center , IXIA, Smartbits
