The details of the job are the following: Apply Now Job Title Urgent Looking-RF Planning & Optimization Chennai Job Description As a Network Optimisation Engineer your role will be to provide network performance services covering variety of tasks, such as network performance audits, quality and capacity optimisation, parameter planning, network feature planning, network statistics analysis, troubleshooting and performance management. You are willing to work in late shifts if the project demands. Customer focused mindset and process orientation are important for providing the services with high quality. You have relevant work experience in mobile telecommunication area and solid background with GSM systems. Any 3G/WCDMA working knowledge would be a definite plus. This role requires practical knowledge of radio network planning and optimization tasks throughout the network planning process. Role: RF Engineer Industry Type: Telcom/ISP Functional Area: IT- Hardware / Technical Support/ Telecom Engineering Keywords: 5 - 9 yrs_RF Planning & Optimization_Chennai Desired Candidate Profile Education: UG - B.Tech/B.E., PG - M.Tech Requirements: • Engineering Graduate with 5-9 years relevant experience in network design and optimisation. • Knowledge and practice of 2G / 3G optimization processes • Experience in analysing drive test measurement • Knowledge on using post processing and analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, or equivalent) • Knowledge of MAPINFO • Experience in network optimization with the help of parameters and counters • Knowledge and practice of OSS, RAN tools: Configuration Management, Performance Management, Fault Management related e.g. PlanEditor, Radio Access Configuration tools, Optimizer, Reporter • Knowledge on usage of various BSS features for improving and optimizing the performance of the network. • Good communication skills and attitude for knowledge sharing. Customer service oriented. • Able to work independently and as part of a group. • Reliable and efficient targeting for good quality. Analytical approach and problem solving skills.
