Job Description:
Required qualifications include:
- CCNA(Cisco Certified Network Administrator) or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certificate desired
- 5-8 yrs experience as TSE, Sales Engineer, Network Engineer or Software Engineer
- CWNA (certified wireless network administrator)& nbsp;certificate desired
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issue resolution techniques
- Experience with switching, routing and Ethernet applications
- Strong analytical skills as well as various problem-solving techniques for LAN and WLAN operating environment
- Knowledge of WLAN Security (WPA, 802.11i, 802.1x, etc)
- Familiar with the network protocol layers and how they interact, TCP/IP, SIP, 802.3, 802.11
- Working knowledge of protocol analyzers such as Wireshark, Sniffer, or LANWatch; wireless analysis tools such&n bsp;as WiSpy DBX, Varitronics Bumblebee, or Fluke AirMagnet; and network test tools such as Ixia and Chariot
- The ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and solution concepts
- Very strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
