Job Description:
.Net is Microsoft's collection of programming support for what is known as Web services, the ability to use the Web rather than your own computer for various services. The platform provides a seamlessly interoperable & Web-enabled interface for applications & computing devices and to make computing activities increasingly Web browser-oriented. It includes servers; building-block services, such as Web-based data storage; & device software.
Professionals in the .Net Framework/Biztalk speciality will focus on the .Net Framework using Biztalk, an Enterprise Application Integration, while those in the Visual C/Visual C++ specialty will focus on the Visual C or Visual C++ languages. Those in the ASP.Net and VB.Net speciality will focus on the ASP.Net & VB.Net languages respectively.
As an ATS .Net software engineer, you will contribute to the development, delivery & maintenance of technology-based business solutions. You are skilled in the design, coding, testing, & implementation of configuration changes to .Net applications to meet both functional & technical requirements. You may also have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution.

As an ATS .Net software engineer, you will contribute to the development, delivery & maintenance of technology-based business solutions. You are skilled in the design, coding, testing, & implementation of configuration changes to .Net applications to meet both functional & technical requirements. You may also have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Assisting & supporting the planning & analysing of high-level software strategies & solutions through functional & technical expertise
- Implementing & assisting in designing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes & technology
- Participating in implementing the technical infrastructure, including networks, platforms & servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security & operations management
- Assisting in the integration of technical & application components to meet business requirements
- Assisting in designing the framework of a technical infrastructure, including network, platforms & servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security & operations management
- Designing, coding & testing programme modules that meet design specifications
- Maintaining, tuning & repairing applications in order to keep them performing according to technical & functional specifications; perform preventive maintenance activities; providing user support
- Assisting in the creation of test scripts; executing & documenting the tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements
- Assisting in identifying configuration changes to applications so that they meet business process requirements
- Assisting in implementing all actions required to deploy an application
- Assisting in defining the characteristics, capabilities, inputs, outputs, and results necessary to describe the required functionality of a system, software application, network, training course, user interface or any other technology or product
Qualifications
- A good Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
- At least 1-3 years' relevant IT experience in .Net programming
- Experience and working knowledge of the following programming languages: VC++ , VB, XML, ASP, C#, VB.Net, .Net Framework, Windows NT, SQL 2K
