Security Engineering

• Candidates must have a broad background in Checkpoint, Juniper, Nokia firewalls. Minimum of five years experience in design and engineering with Checkpoint, Juniper, Nokia firewalls.
• Candidates must have a broad background in content management products (also referred to as Proxy) like BlueCoat. Minimum of five years experience in design and engineering with BlueCoat technologies. Practical experience with Proxy implementation and design preferred.
• Candidates must be technically competent in network based threat detection engineering principles with specialization in Proxy technologies.
• Candidates must have a broad background in F5 Load Balancers. Minimum of five years experience in design and engineering with F5 Load Balancers.
• Candidates must have a broad background in threat detection products (IDS/IPS).
• Minimum of five years experience in design and engineering with TippingPoint, IBM ISS, Sourcefire technologies.
• Vendor certifications - associate and/or professional - preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple project assignments with minimal supervision.
• Must have communications and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively interface with various client-facing groups, peers, management, and technical leads.

Networking - Multi Skilled

• Cisco hardware product line (routers, switches, wireless, VPN, firewall, load balancers)
• Layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching
• Circuit types (MPLS, Frame Relay, DSL, VPN, ISDN, etc.)
• Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP)
• IOS and native IOS
• 802.1Q trunking, VLANs, channeling, HSRP, STP, VIP, QoS, Multicast, DHCP, DNS
• Access control lists, IP subnetting
• Load balncer applications (CCS, CSM, ACE), configure VIP’s F5 (creating I-rules)
• Firewall, security, VPN (checkpoint, SSL), proxy (Blue Coat), Juniper vendor product line
• Wireless controls (autonomous and lightweight aironet access points)
• Create bill of materials and obtain vendor cost quotes
• Writing confgurations (Cisco, HP ProCurve hardware products
• Comm. room/wiring closet facilities (fiber/copper cabling, patch panels, racks, UPS, power, etc.)
• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, fault isolation and remediation of a network
• Network monitoring/capacity planning (Lucent VitalSuite, Concord eHealth, NetQoS Reporting Analyzer)

Voice Engineering

• Responsible for the design, configuration, development, integration, implementation of network solutions.
• Responsible for the architecture, design and development of all elements of network plans/strategies that include: the physical/network layout, wiring schemes, open systems, product interfaces and implementation plans.
• Cisco Call manager, CUOM, CUCIMOC
• Cisco unified call manager, Cisco Unified communication manager
• Cisco Unity, Cisco contact center solution
• voice Gateways (analog ad digital), FXS,FXO,MGCP,SCCP,SIP,SRST
• IVR, Cisco emergency responder
• Design and deploy distributive Voice solutions to ensure system functionality, interoperability, availability, timely use and business continuity.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of n/w experience; at least 3 years of network engineering experience

Data Engineering

• Responsible for the design, configuration, development, integration, implementation of network solutions.
• Develop architectures that enable common platform and consistent network environment.
• Switching: Cisco Catalyst Switches, VLAN, STP, VLAN Trunking, Multicast, HSRP
• Routing: Cisco routers, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP
• Others: Circuit Installation, QOS, Frame relay, ISDN MPLS, Wireless Access Points, ACS (Tacacs)
• Responsible for the architecture, design and development of all elements of network plans/strategies that include: the physical/network layout, wiring schemes, open systems, product interfaces and implementation plans.
• Design and deploy distributive network solutions to ensure system functionality, interoperability, availability, timely use and business continuity.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of n/w experience; at least 3 years of network engineering experience
• Primarily Cisco product skilled, exposure to multivendor / multi-technology environment will be an added advantage;
