Experience required : 3 to 12 years

Job Description:
3-12 years of development test experience on a routing/switching/bras platform.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and work independently
Strong scripting skills in PERL/TCL.
Experience in the following BRAS areas is desired
o PPP/PPPoE/MLPPP, L2TP
o AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+,
o DHCP,CLIPS

Test tools
o Agilent N2X
o Spirent
o Ixia

Responsibilities:

Design, execute, and automate test cases in the Subscriber Management Areas for the Smart Edge router series.
Work with product management and software/hardware development teams to develop test plans and strategies to ensure that new products and features meet specifications.
This includes:
Participation in design reviews
Writing detailed Functional Test plans
Design of test bed topologies
Execution of test cases and clear documentation of defects found
Development of PERL scripts to automate test cases.
Assisting development teams in analysis and debugging of defects
Resource allocation planning
Participation in reviews of test processes, contributing to continuing evolution of processes to improve group productivity and test effectiveness.
