In TSI – S&F, we are involved in end to end delivery of various regulatory, mandatory or Business driven Projects which cover the overall lifecycle starting from Requirement gathering, Estimation, Design, Development, System Testing, UAT and Implementation.
Activities: · Work closely with the UK team and Project Lead to understand
Requirements. ·
To analyse requirements, perform impact analysis, design modules, build and unit test the code, Provides accurate status on deliverables and risk throughout the project ,Carry out Peer Reviews to ensure that quality goals are met around project deliverables.· Help plan for and support implementation activities.· Share technical knowledge with the team
Key deliverables: Traceability Matrix, Technical Design, Code, Code Reviews, Test Scripts, Implementation Plan.
Scope of Role: · Analysis, design, code reviews, task estimation, software development, meeting timelines, testing, mentoring, taking part in recruitment activities, participate in stakeholder communication.
People Management: Good people mgmt skills required
Person Specification
Essential: · 6-8 years of experience in a development role· Strong hands-on Java/J2ee technologies, Web Services & Websphere Portal Server· Analytical and problem solving attitude.· Excellent oral and written communications skills.· Must be a fast learner and able to work under tight deadlines· Strong team player; organized, capable of multi-tasking, and willing to shift priorities to meet business needsDesirable:· Working knowledge on Websphere products, Oracle & DB2 ·
Working knowledge on Mainframes Qualifications: Essential: ·
Educational Qualifications: BE / B Tech / MCA
Desirable:Sun & IBM Certifications
Technical Competence: Essential: Must have knowledge of :· Java / J2ee Technologies Web Services Websphere Portal Server
Desirable:· Oracle, PL/SQL(stored procedures, triggers, indexes),DB2,Mainframe
